Just like everybody else, I like to take pictures of everything and anything with my phone. Unfortunately I don't have an iPhone yet, but that will come soon. I definitely want an iPhone because of the Instagram app, that makes your pictures even more fun!

 But for now I just have to do it with my blackberry..

NEW IN // MY BIRTHDAY PRESENTS

Yesterday was my birthday and I had such a great day! Especially at night when I went to Mazzo to have dinner with my parents, brother and dearest friends. We laughed all night, even when the waiter dropped hot tea all over me. I couldn't care less. Here are some pictures from all the lovely gifts I received. I'm so happy with it! Kyra even gave me her suede jacket because she never wears it! I couldn't believe it, so sweet! Thank you my girls and family for making my day. Nothing but love.

EVENT // FASHIOLISTA FEEDBACK FRIDAY

Last Friday I was invited for the Fashiolista Feedback Friday. Fashiolista is a platform where you can share your style with other fashion lovers. They organized an afternoon for some users of the site so they could give feedback and I was one of them. Together with other bloggers we had a great afternoon. We did a style-game, talked a lot about fashion, gave feedback to the Fashiolista team and there were pizza and smoothies! Thanks for Fashiolista for having me, I had a great time!

PHOTOSHOOT // FUTURE ROOTS

Around three weeks ago I had to do a photoshoot for school. As promised here's finally the end result! I think the result became very cool, also partly by the logo of Dazed & Confused. The logo makes it a lot more realistic, even if it's only a school assignment. Next Thursday I have to present my work and it's getting assessed. But first I am curious about your comments, so let me know!

And besides that, they've got an unique partnership with various fashion bloggers to give them more chance to experience and to gain more recognition. EVENT // G-STAR WOMEN ONLY NIGHT

As you may noticed, last Friday night G-star RAW organized a special Women Only Night. But as you might know, I work as a sales assistant in the G-star store in Amsterdam so I could not leave behind! The night was held in 141 stores in 28 countries. During this special night, G-star presented the RAW trends and there was the opportunity to get to know the RAW collection better. The  G-Star team and the style advisors from Glamour magazine were present for styling advice and tips. Besides fashion there was also attention to beauty. You could get your make-up done by the Ellis Faas team to complete the G-Star RAW look. All this on the beats of DJ Egbert Jan Weeber. It was a very nice, busy evening with lots of fashion, food, drinks, music and beauty.

A DAY IN EINDHOVEN

Yesterday we went with school to the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. In a next post I'll tell you more about it, but for now I'll let you know that I had a great day with my friends! Of course we had to take pictures, so enjoy!

BIRTHDAY WISHLIST

My birthday is in two and a half weeks but I think it's never too early to dream about your wishes. I'm talking about material needs of course. My real wishes are in fact no products at all, but have to do with my future. And a small part of it has been released! Remember my post from yesterday where I said I had some good news? Well, the Dutch fashion site Follow Fashion has chosen me as one of their new guest bloggers! In November you can read my articles and those of two other bloggers on their site. A DAY IN A LIFETIME // PART THREE

The past week I had a Fall break, but that doesn't mean I can relax and do whatever I like. I've been working my ass off on my photoshoot and there was also a pile of homework waiting for me. Unfortunately I'm still not done with it.. All in all, I had quite a nice week. Especially very educational! 

1. It's difficult to turn off all social media when I'm busy with school // 2. Just a break with a delicious sandwich // 3. Shooting with Lara Rose // 4. I don't have a boyfriend so I buy flowers for myself // 5. The ILFN money-box for my future it-bag, I love it! // 6. An advantage of autumn: candles! ♥

SNEAK PREVIEW OF THE SHOOT

As you all know, yesterday I styled my first photoshoot. It was a nice, long day and I learned a lot. Here's a sneak preview, as all pictures must still be edited, so the end result I'll show you later. I am certainly very happy and proud. Of course I'm also proud of my model, photographer and make-up artist, because without them it wasn't possible. Together we created something beautiful.

Through the crowd, I totally forgot to take pictures with my camera, so sorry for the bad quality. Hope you still like them!

INSPIRATION FOR THE SHOOT // METALLIC FT. INDIANA

As you might have seen in my previous post, I've to do a photoshoot for school. Thank you for the sweet comments by the way, it makes me very happy! The upcoming days I'll be very busy with the preparations for the shoot but I'll keep you posted. Today I discussed everything with my teacher, and she was very enthusiastic about my topic. She advised me to dare and to go out of the box, which she is absolutely right because I'm a little insecure. It's the first time I style a shoot and that's quite exciting! As you can see I've enough inspiration, so that's nice! Tomorrow I'm going to PR Agency Bestseller to borrow some clothes, thank you so much Kyra, and I have an appointment with my make-up artist. The rest of the weekend I go shopping, so certainly it's not bad at all!
